Jill is the award-winning author of the Broadway musical A Tale of Two Cities (Outer Critics Circle nominations for Outstanding New Broadway Musical and Best Actor in 2008.) The show also earned 3 Drama Desk nominations and a Drama League nomination. Jill is one of only two women in history to write the book, music and lyrics for a Broadway musical.

Prior to Broadway, the world premiere production enjoyed a sold-out run at Florida’s historic Asolo Repertory Theatre, winning numerous awards including Best Musical of the season.

In 2009, Jill adapted and served as Executive Producer for the PBS special A Tale of Two Cities - In Concert. The program was narrated by veteran actor Michael York, filmed in the historic Theatre Royal in Brighton and featured many of the stars of the original Broadway cast.

A DVD of the PBS concert was released in conjunction with the CD A Tale of Two Cities International Studio Cast Recording, available on iTunes and Amazon.

A Tale of Two Cities makes its Southern England premiere at the Barrington Theatre in Dorset, September 27 through 29, 2018. A fourth Korean production of A Tale of Two Cities is scheduled for February 2019 at the BBCH Hall in Apgujeong, Seoul. Tale has also been produced in Japan, Germany, Canada, Ireland, Wales, Scotland, England, Australia and the United States. The show continues to win awards and acclaim around the world with a NODA Best Musical Award for a production in Tredegar, Wales. The professional, stock & amateur rights to perform A Tale of Two Cities are available for license through Samuel French.

Publications include the Samuel French Acting Edition of the Broadway script as well as Vocal Selections by Alfred Publishing. ther recordings include Jill’s collaboration with Pulitzer Prize and Oscar-winning writer John Patrick Shanley for Over the Moon: The Broadway Lullaby Project to benefit breast cancer research.

Before the premiere of A Tale of Two Cities, Jill spent thirteen years in original programming development at Showtime Networks. She’s a 9-time ASCAP Plus Award-winner, a NJ State Council on the Arts Fellowship winner, alumna of the distinguished BMI and ASCAP Musical Theater Workshops and a member of the Dramatists Guild.

Alongside It Happened in Key West (Book and Additional Lyrics), a selection of Jason’s work includes The Last Match (Book and Lyrics), concept album released August 2022 with lead single “Thirty Years” featuring Broadway’s Ramin Karimloo and Sylvana Joyce and The Moment. The Crossing (Book and Lyrics), co-written with composer John Allen Watts, most recently seen in concert hosted by the Thomas Paine Historical Society. Also with composer John Allen Watts, a new musical based on a Wildean children’s story as well as a contemporary song-cycle fashioned after the stylings of Cole Porter. In addition, he is co-writing a new musical along with Broadway’s Jeremiah James and Sujin Kim-Ramsey tentatively titled Beatrice.

His three novels, Delirium TremensEmma and Adam, and 2028 are available now. His play, Dante’s Omission was a Eugene O’Neill semi-finalist. After Heaven and The Paradise, both written in quarantine and in meter, complete his Divine Comedy-inspired triptych. Jason is currently writing a pilot for a children’s show with his brother, noted animator Brendan Huza, with whom he had collaborated on the award-winning web-series, King of the List

When not working on the above, Jason always has another musical, play, or novel up his sleeve.

As a writer Mr. James has projects in various mediums. He has recently finished his first book entitled Only Me… Thanks a lot. with his writing partner Dr. Stefanie Macaluso, which also has a Web-series attached to it currently in development. He is working on an as yet untitled books series with writing partner Autumn Karen slated for release in 2018. Along with Co-Writer and collaborator Devon Cannon, Mr. James has two new musicals currently in development. The television show conceived by Mr. James and written by himself and Karen Moline, The Theatre Re-Invention Project, is currently in its final stages of development for network television. After being invited to attend the Eugene O’Neill Cabaret Conference, Jeremiah ventured into the world of writing and directing one-person shows which include Jeremiah James My Inner Superman, Tupelo and Choose Love, as well as Forest Van-Dyke’s Breaking Free and Courtney Warford’s Blurred Lines as well as being a writing consultant on many others.

Rashad is the Founder and President of Esquire Entertainment, a New York based talent management and production company. Rashad manages a diverse roster of actors, writers, directors and choreographers working in theatre, television and film. As a producer, Rashad has developed and produced various theatrical productions and staged readings. His upcoming Broadway productions include Ain’t Too Proud - The Life and Times of The Temptations and Mr. Rickey Calls A Meeting. Rashad produced the world premiere of The Erlkings at the Beckett Theatre in New York. He also produced an independent romantic comedy entitled True to the Heart, which won five awards at the Long Island International Film Expo and was an official selection of the Big Apple Film Festival. In addition, his short film, Click, was an official selection at the Hollywood Black Film Festival and the Pan African Film Festival. Rashad is currently developing a TV series with Stacy Sutphen, Damon Sharpe, Kenny “Babyface” Edmonds and Electus. MARYLOU ROTHFUSS

Marylou is a theatre investor and producer. Her Broadway affiliations include Deaf West’s Spring Awakening and Dear Evan Hansen. Marylou was recently an associate producer of A Taste of Things To Come in Chicago. Other producing credits include the audiobook, Delirium Tremens and Jeremiah James’ Choose Love concert at Live at Zedel in London. She has a bachelor’s degree of fine arts from Marymount Manhattan College and studied acting at the Lee Strasberg Theatre Institute. Marylou resides in Connecticut with her husband and children.
